Dr Arne De Kreuk, Consultant Haematologist, King's College Hospital
Dr Arne de Kreuk is an Adult Haematologist specialising in haemoglobin disorders. Arne joined King’s College Hospital in August 2021. Before joining King’s, Arne was the clinical lead for the East of England Haemoglobinopathy Network, and provided specialist clinics for patients with sickle cell disorder and thalassaemia at North Middlesex Hospital and UCLH, and in Cambridge, Norwich and Stevenage.
Arne graduated with honours from the VU University Medical School in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in 1997 and completed specialist training in 2008. In 2006 Arne was awarded a PhD for a thesis on the preservation of stem cells in autologous grafts.
Arne also has a special interest in quality improvement and has followed the IHI executive development programme for patient safety.

Dr Subarna Chakravorty, Consultant Paediatric Haematologist, King's College Hospital
Dr Subarna Chakravorty is a Paediatric Haematologist with a special interest in non-malignant haematology and stem cell transplant for haemoglobinopathy and non-malignant diseases.
Subarna joined King’s College Hospital as a consultant in July 2015. Prior to that, Subarna led the Paediatric Haemoglobinopathy service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and the Imperial Paediatric Red Cell Disorders Network for 5 years, and was also involved in the bone marrow transplant programme for paediatric haemoglobinopathy.
Subarna is interested in clinical and molecular research in sickle cell disease and is involved in a number of projects at King’s College London.

Marie Clough, Programme Manager - Haematology, King's Health Partners and Patient & Public Involvement & Engagement Lead
Marie Clough is the Programme Manager in the KHP Haematology Team. Marie is currently co-leading on the Public and Patient Involvement focus of the KHP 2025-30 Strategy. Prior to joining KHP Haematology Marie has had a long career leading on Public and Patient Engagement and Involvement in the NHS and Voluntary Sector .
Marie is passionate about finding ways to ensure local communities have a voice in improving health and care services and advocating for patients as equal partners in improvement in the NHS.

Alahna Craig, Project Manager King's Health Partners
Alahna Craig is a Project Manager at King’s Health Partners, organising the Ageing Well with Sickle Cell project. Alahna has previously worked with the Patient Outcomes Team and joined King’s Health Partners in October 2024.

Jacken Watters is a Data Coordinator at King’s Health Partners, involved in several projects across the programme. Jacken joined King’s Health Partners in July 2023.
